I had GB two weeks ago.  I recently had to return to the hospital from dehydration.  They discovered that I have keytones in my urine which is why I've been experiencing a metalic taste with everything I put into my mouth.  The hospital gave me two different bags of saline and saline with I believe sugar.  Once I received the two bags of saline I felt much better.  I've lost 46 lbs 22 prior to surgery.  It was a little scary the second day after surgery I felt like crap I had not used the pain medicine cause when I did I felt very dizzy and sick to my stomach.  I'm home and I have hardly enough energy to do much.  I did take a walk to the store with my husband and then I came home and slept for 2 hours.  I'm suppose to return to work in two weeks.  I really need to get back to the gym.  I will be sitting at my desk in work 8 hours a day.  I'm going to try to walk for 1/2 an hour each day which is my lunch break.  Can anyone share daily menu's with me. I'm also having a hard time getting the 60 gms of protein daily

Hello Chickie54<br />
I too have had the Gastric Bypass, about 10 years ago though. I have quite the story. Yes, I did amazing lost a ton of weight, then I kept losing.Funny, right! Theough out the years many many complements. Unfortunately, my body was slowing giving up. Not enough protein and nutrients. At about 10 years I ws taken to the Hospital and went through many blood transfusion and Infed treatments (IRON) I actually did this for an entire yr. once a week blood transfusions and evry other day Infed. The doctor said that the constant dehydration, lack of nutrient and protein is honestly catching up to me and shutting my body down. I thought I was doing all the things my doc. wanted from me. I then came in contact with an amazing Shake that is NOT available in stores, should be though. Its called Shakeology, it saved my life..I have been takin it for 10 months now and has changed my life totally. I no longer need blood transfusions or INFED treatments. The Doc. beilieves it has saved my life. I now am a sponsor for this amazing protein drink. You will never get the benfits from anything out there, GNC, Carnation, whatever. Please take a look at this on my website its gonna change you forever. Go to shakeology and read the success stories and listen to the 12 min. video. Believe me, you should give it a try. I am writing to every Gastric Bypass patient, to help save them from the inevitable. /christine
