A Beautiful Girl

After being with her for some time, she decided that she no longer wanted to be with me. Her break up line was, 'You are such a nice guy, and I can't believe that I'm doing this.' I told her that I didn't want it to end, we had had such a wonderful time together. She kept telling me how much of a nice guy that I am/was. I was not happy with that at the time, and I wasn't able to talk to anyone for the rest of that day. I am very close with a couple of her friends and they talk to me about it a lot, trying to help me but, it just doesn't seem to be helping. The only way that I can get my mind off of it, is listening to music. The problem is, is that I can't even begin to think about going out with another girl because I just can't get over my 'true love.' I will never love like that again. :'(

I know it seems like there will never be another love. You are young and will have endless opportunities for love. Your heart will heal. You will come through this a little wiser and will probably be more protective of your heart in future relationships. But I promise that eventually one will come along who will be the best match for you ever and it will be mutual.
