Sleep Paralysis

I'm 18 years old and it all started when I was about 8 and I get sleep paralysis about 2 or 3 times a month. My story comes across as similar to other peoples stories I've heard of or read where they feel as if they being strangled by something or being pressed down on their chest. I'm not entierly sure what triggers it but usually I awken completelly paralysed with a agonising pain in my ribs towards my back this usually happends the very second I awken into this paralysis and its extremelly difficult to wake myself up completelly. I am fully aware that I am in my bedroom lying on my bed with this agonising pain and because I cannot move, cry for help or awake I've got to just lay in pain until hopefully I wake up whether its natural or something wakes me but once I have actually awaken I never recall myself feeling any pain, only when in the paralysis.

Try to look for a big problem which occured around this i=time, its not uncommon for young people to face a large problem when there younger, but it is usually due to high stress. This may even have been something which you were unable to controll at the time, like moving school etc.
