I Have Had Some Funny Travel Experiences
Pat McCormick was an actor, appearing in many TV movies, as well as on game shows such as "I've Got a Secret" and "The Gong Show"
He played "Big Enos Burdette" in the Smokey and the Bandit movies, alongside Paul Williams, who played "Little Enos Burdette"
He also was on of the lead writers for "The Tonight Show" for fifteen years..
He wrote the line "Due to today's earthquake, the God Is Dead Rally has been canceled".
One time, he took an Amtrak train from New York to Los Angeles.
He was dressed up as a Catholic priest, and drank whiskey, smoked cigars, and played poker in the Club Car.
No one knew who he really was.
It must have been some sight for the other passengers....a priest who drank, smoked cigars, cursed and played poker for the entire 3 day trip.
