I Have Had Some "Interesting" Roommates
Today I woke up at 6:30 am to the sound of.... her... sobbing, moaning, screaming and gasping frantically as she talked to her boyfriend on the phone. It went on for two excruciating hours, which included throwing things and punching walls, and yes, more screaming until I was on the verge of a breakdown myself. I was honestly wondering if she might hurt herself or someone else. When I heard her storm into the kitchen and sort through utensils, for a second I thought, what if she's looking for a knife? It sounded that scary.
She's not really my roommate. I was staying at my boyfriend's place for the night, and she is the GF of his flatmate. except she seems to have moved permanently there because I guess she can't spend a second without him babysitting her. Literally she cannot go to the bathroom without taking him with her! Yes it's true, I am not exaggerating! He goes alone, but she will always drag him along. Can you imagine? Sometimes I see her around the house or on the street and she looks semi-'normal', but as soon as she is with him, her baby voice comes out, and she starts moaning and crying like a baby needing to be soothed. My boyfriend says he hears her 'waaaaaa' every single day, most of the day. This is exactly what it sounds like.
That's all fine, and it's their business, but it's a bit confusing when she goes on a mega-frenzy like this morning. Are we supposed to just ignore it? We live on a campus that has had suicides and even a crazy girlfriend stabbing her bf, and that's what I worry about.
