I Felt God Gave Me a Second Chance

F irst off, I'm not a religious person, my dad is Catholic and my mother is Jewish.  I have been to church maybe twice in my life.  I was going to sleep the other day and I had this overwhelming feeling and very real feeling that my time was up. (I was dying at that very moment)  For the first time in my life I prayed.  Prayed that it wasn't my time yet, as I'm doing this I kind of see myself die and my funeral and the near future without me there. I think I cried for a little bit.  Finally this calming feeling after praying came over me and I knew I would be ok because God gave me another chance.  I woke up the next morning having a very big interest in attending church. It was like a light switch on how I felt about church the night before to the next day.  I kind of feel obligated to go, and I want to go.  Again, I have never been religious nor very spiritual.  Nothing like that experience has ever happened like that to be so profound.  I'm still trying to figure out what this all means? and what really happened to me?
