Only About The Things That I Don't Have Answers Too....

For example:

If the Earth is rotating from east to west and a plane takes off from LAX to land in TPE does the plane take off and the Earth rotates under it until the Earth gets close then it lands?

Or is the plane playing "catch up" with the Earth cause it is rotating too...

If that is so, shouldn't it take less time for the plane to get to TPE from LAX because the Earth is rotating that direction?

And if that is so it should take longer for the same plane to leave TPE to LAX cause the plane is chasing after not waiting for the Earth.

And why is that trip shorter for the plane to fly from TPE up past Japan to Alaska past San Fran then LAX versus straight shot?

Hummmmm.......
