"Keep it black"...wait what?

I was walking to go to CVS once and this guy came up to me and tried to start up a conversation.  It went something like this:  (keep in mind I never stopped walking, so he was walking with me during this little conversation, pretty much)

Him:  "Hey how are you doing?

Me: "Good"

"So what's going on, you looking cute, slow down a minute"

"Can't, gotta go, I have a boyfriend by the way"

"Is he black?"

"Yes he is"

Then he says something to the extent of, "Oh ok"...and then the weird thing comes into play, and this is exactly what he says:

"Keep it black"

And then he leaves me alone and walks into some store.

I've never had a guy tell me, after me telling him off, to "keep it black."  Who says that, really?  People say the darndest things :P
