New To This!!

The last year was probably one of the worst years of my life. I found out I have Hashimoto's disease feb. Of 2012. I feel like I spent most of last year in bed. I have had a lot every negative side effect that comes with this disease. My skin is what bothers me the most. I have had so many issues with acne and very dry skin. I used to have SO much energy. I ran and worked out a lot. I feel like things are getting better. I'm starting to have more better days and more energy. I'm going to try and go gluten free. I take tons of vitamins. I just need some advice on what else I need to be doing.

I was just diagnosed with the disease . It is so good to know what is wrong and deal with it . I avoid carbs and vitamins per my endocrinologist . I take my thyroid meds on an empty stomach and with just water 1 to 2 hours before food . It stinks to be tired / fatigued so much . I do things in stages throughout the day and take a nap . You are not alone !
