I Have High Blood Pressure

High Blood Pressure At 18

I'm 18 years old, and I have high blood pressure.  I'm on prescription meds for it, which I absolutly hate.  I had kidney problems when I was very young, and now I have stage II kidney disease.  Because my kidneys are so scarred, my blood pressure increased.  I feel helpess to my own health...

    I'm 17 almost 18 and a girl and my blood pressure this morning was 151/110 (It's been high for a week or longer as far as i know..) :/ I'm scared. i DON'T want any kidney problems i am very sorry for yours!

    When I was 17 years old, the earliest BP reading I can remember, was 150/80. This was in 1984.

    Not everyone is blessed with a great life. I take vitamins everyday at my own free will but I can't imagine how it feels like to battle a disease and have no choice to take meds. You just have to accept it.
