Kids especially girls should learn about sex just so they will know how to keep from getting pregnant. I dont know what country it is but they used to let a good family friend or a favorite Uncle break in the young girls to show them how to enjoy sex without getting preg.

There is a time and place for everything. If you tell them they can't-then they will want to do it behind your back. If its one thing I have learned it's the more you try to keep a desire hidden or repressed the more it wants to come out-and usually ends up coming out in a socially unacceptable or violent way. It's like the proverbial "finger in the dyke". Teenagers have to breathe-those libidos are working overtime as it is! Why punish them for what they know is natural and right? That's how sexual deviants are created-through oppression. Then when they are older and realize what they deisire really is fun and pleasurable, they begin to act out in order to vent but that usually comes in explosions of unacceptable acts rather than easy venting and gradual release. Yep, I agree, you are on the right track. They will be much more amiable and open to guidance if you dont try to shut down their hormones but rather show them the way through them.

My wife was raised in a home where sex and/ or nudity was a very dirty and taboo topic and absolutely NOT allowed; even thinking about sex and ESPECIALLY thinking about it accompanied by ************ was a sin; if she even touched herself she was "going to burn in hell". I was raised with 3 brothers and was always told I had to wear clothes. Sex was never talked about in my home except in quiet tet a tets with one brother. We found it all out the hard way but we DID manage to find it out and do a little experimenting with others. I pity those who have to live under such duress. My wife was seduced frequently and made to suck on a relative's **** blindfolded when very young but otherwise a virgin to sex until her late 20's when she finally gave in and sucked a guy off, etc willingly. After that, the doors were opened and the heat was on for her but she still never had a vent until she met me a while later. But even then we didnt have sex until 9 months after we met. Now she is pretty much a sex addict and a legend only in her own mind as she is in the closet still about most things which she is either curious about or wants to do VERY badly. She vents alot of her sexual dsires on line and I have become her realtime "daddy" rather than her friend and partner. I believe this is due at least in part, to her not having any guidance or way to realease the incredible desires she has for so much sex. One time, after I finally got her away from her parents awful oppression (they hung over and monitored her until she was 30), we finally got our own place together out of their watchful eye and one of the first things she did was to walk around the entire house ************ and ******* all over the place. The stories go on but you get the idea. Inside, her libido wants to touch and taste almost evreything at least once but outwardly she is still largely in the box and in torment; unable to share her desires with anyone. No there is definitely a time and place for everything. There is a time to be silent and a time to teach. Kids need to learn many things before they need to know about sex. But they are curious creatures so the door should always be open for them to ask and the understainding and guidance always provided for them on THEIR level and in love.

We could have written your story ! Both my wife and I were raised in similar households and weve done the same with our kids - 2 are young teens now. We think its healthy and so far seems to have worked great!
