I Have Hg

This is my second pregnancy and I was not sick with my first one at all. I started vomiting right away. I went to my first ob and he told me try sea bands, try B6, try ginger, try B6 and unisom. Nothing worked. I finally found my first ob that had transferred clinics and switched my care over to him.

I told him how I was throwing up about 10 times a day and I felt nauseated all day. He again said try the same tricks. He prescribed zofran which helped a little. I got severe headaches from it and taking tylenol didn't help.

I started going to the clinic and getting IV fluids and zofran through an IV twice a week. I was consitantly vomiting at work so my doctor cut my hours down.

I still was vomiting and couldn't keep water down. I would puke on myself on my way to work. I ended up in the hospital three days ago with sever dehyrdration and the dizziness.

Now I'm not working at all. I struggle to eat anything. I've lost 10 pounds in the last month. I barely eat and I sip water all day. This is the worst thing ever. I have a 2 year old that doesnt get Mommy's attention at all. My house is messy. My husband is working and doing all he can around the house. All I want to do is sleep and be left alone. I've developed sever depression and its only getting worse. I am due June 20 so I'm almost there

How did everyone else cope with this crap?

Your a special Mum. As are all HG Mums.
We know what it's truly like to suffer for our children.
Our Husbands/ Partners are Heros for stepping into the home duties and becomming our advocates when we feel so awful.
You are blessed, even though you don't feel blessed right now.
You are one strong Woman and can get through this, one second at a time.
Your cooking one special parcel, and you know it's worth the suffering in the end. EVEN THOUGH IT DOSN"T FEEL LIKE IT RIGHT NOW!
Keep fighting.
You are a hero!
LOTS OF LOVE AND BEST WISHES

Dear Nicole,
I have to daughters 16 and 15 and had hyperemesis with both pregnancy 5 1/2 months with the first and 5 months with the second. What helped me the most was I went on home IV. It seemed to curve the vomiting but not the horrible feeling. My doctor said it would turn off like a switch and it did at
approx 5 months then I was able to eat. Some women go the whole pregnancy. Try the home IV and keep the faith your little bundle of joy will all be worth it. I will say a prayer for you!!
Fondly
