I Had Hyperparathroid For 15-20 Years And Did Not Know

Well yes, I had it for over 15 years according to my surgeon. Had it removed, and then started getting panic attacks. A rush of hormones made my mind go crazy. This was four days after surgery. Scary as heck. But guess what? All that is gone. I had all the symptoms, before surgery. But no one tells you what to expect after. I am now wide awake. Feel like I was living in a tunnel for the last 10-15 years. Unbelievable on how much better my life is. My mind is clear, I'm never tired full of energy, no sad for no reason, life is beautiful. I'm so sad that I missed out on so much prior...I had a stupid doctor who did not diagnosis. But one visit to my new doctor and bingo.....cured now and loving life!!!

This is great news, I am so please that you feel so well, I have only just been told that i have this and everything fit's into place, I cried because I finally feel I am not going mad. My Doctor has wrote strait to the surgeon and I am waiting to see how long it will be before I go to see them, the Doctor said I need the operation asap and has not put me in to a clinic. How long did it take for a date for your surgery and what was involved, did you have day surgery, was it very painful afterwards, I have had a lot of surgery and not looking forward to this at all, apart from feeling my old self again.
