I'd love to give that clinical teacher of yours a good shaking, This is extremely serious, you need to get a second opinion fast,. the heart palpatations can increase dramatically if nothing is done. Try changing your diet and don't stop taking your medicine. You are not alone.

The heart papitationa and the shaking was what sent me to the doctor. Because I was overweight they put it off to menopause I'm 56. It got so bad i couldn't walk 200feet without losing my breath. I have been on tapazole for 4 months but the endo. doc put me on beta blockers to slow down my heart and that helped so much. I have to take 4 tapazole pills a day mine is so high. She is tryimg medication but said sooner or oater I was facing surgery or radiation. they tell me I have Graves disease. What I hate is that I will go along and be fine for days then take several that I casn't hold up my head,. I also have random joint pain and was wondering if you do to.

I have not been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I believe I may have it though. Out of nowhere about a month ago, I acquired this extreme nervousness/anxiety. It is to the point now, that I pretty much can't do anything without getting nervous about it and my hands shaking. The hand shaking is the worst. Now my hands shake even when I am alone. I have other symptoms as well. Extreme fatigue, depression (mainly because of the symptoms), arm weakness, tingling in the hands and arms, stomach pains, at least 2 loose stool bowel movements a day, at least two people a week telling me how much weight I'm losing (I'm happy to be losing, but honestly, I'm not currently even trying), faintness, eating something and still feeling like you are going to pass out, it just goes on. I'm in the same boat as you, no insurance right now..will get it I think next month. Also, I'm worried maybe it isn't my thyroid and what else it could possibly be. I just want to feel normal again...this past month has been the month from hell!
