Hypothyrodism

Hi all! I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in June 2012. From the moment I gave birth my health changed! During labor, I hemorraghed and was given meds to help stop the bleeding. From that point on I had severe stomach pain every week, sometimes an episode would last 15 hours straight. After a few months I finally had an upper endoscopy and I had gastritis, which I was put on protonix for a month. When the baby was about 3.5 months I became excessively tired, and I thought, this cannot be because of the baby, I was fine before, not this tired. And the baby sleeps through the night and naps during the day. Then my fatigue came on hard, I could barely hold the baby my muscles were so fatigued, I felt like I was always in a fog, like I was slow to process, I was freezing beyond cold, I started losing hair, I started feeling depressed, as would I think anyone! I finally went I dr about 2.5 weeks ago to have my thyroid levels checked. My mom, her mom, and my great grandmom all have thyroid condition. I also noticed, what I thought was a goiter in my neck. The dr ordered me blood work and a few days later my TSH came back and it was 145.5. I called the dr and went to see him the next day. He prescribed me 50mcg of synthroid for a week and then to increase to 100mcg. I went to see an endocrinologist on Monday and he increased my synthroid to 125 because I was not feeling better.
I am still sooo tired alllll the time, my cold intolerance is out of control, I just want to feel better. Thank you all for listening! I am glad to be a part of the group! :))
