I developed hypothyroidism when my daughter was born in 2007. Just found out. I deal with the same problem, inability to lose weight, and others. I'm just grateful I found out so I can do something about it. Do you have any tips for losing the weight? I suppose I'd need to treat the thyroid issue first?

I just went through the ablation of the thyroid and I hope this will help me in loosing weight among other things! I am being hopeful and I work out on a treadmill 30 minutes to an hour most everyday. Loosing weight before was almost impossible for me since the birth of our twin boys 10 years ago.

I also have hypothyroidism. Ive been on the meds since age 16. Its definitely a stuggle for me because I am on the other side of the coin a very hyper person so i feel almost bi polar at times. I am not overweight at this time but I have struggled with weight in the past. It takes a lot more work for those of us with the hypo to keep weight off and even then I never feel satisfied because I do so much work just to stay at a healthy weight. Im curious what you are doing to try and stay healthy??
