Insomnia Is My Frienemy

I have to admit that staying up all night has some really cool advantages. I've met some really great people on my late/all night escapades, gotten things done that I never seem to havethe time for otherwise, and caught up with some shows I had recorded on my DVR.

I just wish I didn't have the insomniatic hang over the next day or after a few nights of sleeplessness. I have things to do! I have people relying on me! I can't afford to be crabby, sore, and absent minded from lack of sleep.

I have tried soooooooo many things to relieve myself of this dilema. I dread taking sleeping pills because they seem to knock me out so much that the next day I am still fatigued and groggy. It helps my body to have the sleep, but I feel like I spend the next day in a fog.

try melatonin. It is over the counter. It is a chemical your brain produces that makes you sleepy. I take it when I cant get to sleep because I work nights and it is hard to get to sleep with the sun beaming in the windows.
