Couldn't Sleep For 3 Days, Even On Sleeping Pills

The last week sucked big time because all I could do is lay down and shut my eyes. I couldn't fall a sleep in that deep sleep and I was on clonazepam, resperidone, ambien, and melatonin. I still didn't sleep and had zero hours of sleep. Then I had to go to the hospital and get it straightened out and since I had a mental illness they had to get it right with my other medications. Now, the doctor told me not to take the ambien and switch to this 50 mg. of trazodone. So, I tried taking the trazodone and got 7 hours of sleep. I felt like I wanted to sleep in in the morning but couldn't fall back a sleep.

But, I would recommend taking trazodone for insomnia it worked for me. And hope it continues to work for me because I need my beauty sleep. It feels terrible not to sleep for 3 days, you feel like a walking zombie.

Updated message the medicine trazodone has been increased to 200mg because I wasn't sleeping on 100mg. I'm worried I still won't be able to sleep.

I don't dream on trazodone really or I don't remember them. Lately tho I only got 5 hours of sleep instead of 7 or 8 like I got right away with trazodone. I don't know if the pills are going to stay working for me?

I know the feeling dude, I was never prescribed trazodone, but I've tried all the others. The only thing that worked for me is hypnosis.
