Recent Problem With Sleep

Since 3 months i have been having this problem and i dont know how to solve it. It started when I went to see a psychiatrist for major depression. He gave me some new anti depressants and i would stay awake for hours, and even when i do sleep, i wake up and feel tired, feels like i have never slept at all.

I feel ya. Whenever you take medication that makes you feel good in one way, it always detracts from something else :(.
I personally need my sleep. Like eight hours of it. Not only that, but I enjoy it.
Hope your psychiatrist can get you some better pills.

Sounds like you need a med change! A bunch of common anti depressants are stimulants, which will definitely keep you up. Feeling like you haven't slept, or are constantly exhausted is a symptom of major depression, although the meds could be causing that as well. The cruddy thing about anti depressants is they really don't know what works best on different people so they have to try a bunch of stuff until they get it right. So talk to your doctor and see if they can't give you something that doesn't have the effects of an espresso. Good luck! =)
