Posted Sep 21st, 2009 at 3:06AM Hi there Sunblaze. I suffer from insomnia so much. It started when everything went downhill with my ex girl friend now. When I had it, the only thing that would help it a little was sleeping with someone I loved. Maybe you should try that. Do u have a loved one at all? All the cuddling and safe feeling just kept me feeling so at ease that my body would easily fall asleep next to my girlfriend. I hope that helps a little. | |
Posted Oct 19th, 2009 at 6:13AM I have had insomnia 15 years (after my divorce)and finally found something safe you might wanna try. Melatonin. Can get it at a health food store. Also Benadryl worked really well for awhile but I found out it's not good for your brain in the long run, like those "pm" products, not safe in long term. Melatonin is natural. Buy a strong one. | |
Posted Oct 27th, 2009 at 11:30AM Watermelon is right. You really should talk to a physician. There are many non-addictive medications out there and for many people the medication is only needed for a short term basis to get your rhythms back in sync. I experience long term, chronic insomnia and it sucks. Meds help most of the time. Good luck. | |
