He Moves Strays Into Our Home Not A Stray Cat But Stray People.

These people use him so bad, owe him thousands of dollars and he just keeps em comin. I've thrown them out and he just brings them right back again. I've begged and pleaded with him to stop moving people in off the streets but he insists on keeping them here. They drink & do drugs all kinds of unsavory s***. I don't trust them here when I'm gone. After years of this crap I finally lost my job and proved him right when he said we needed the money. He did everything in his power to make this happen. No wonder my mom divorced him years ago. I wish I could afford to leave to.

It sounds like you can't afford not to leave him.
As a father who loves his children, I would never put my kids at risk with transient alcoholics and addicts. That is the life your father chooses for himself. You can't save him, but you can save yourself. Follow your mom's excellent example.
Good luck.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I totally understand this situation. I was this situation. Catering / Hosting a banquet for the parasitic populous ... I to this date havebthe tendency to want to allow the wrong into my rite. I hate when I am constantly being filled with what I can now only call my Mantra, "No good deed, goes unpunished"! Its quite sad when you're trying to help and literally handicapping yourself. I hope you find thr clarity, and strength, to live and let live and recognize thr good from the evil. Both are very hard to distinguish at times, when the devil constantly is improving Its game ...

I bet you could. Perhaps you should. Might be great therapy for you as well...
