My Dad.......

  Passed February 16th......

He suffered with Alzheimer's and a broken heart  after my mom died and re married within a year.  Re joined  the Catholic  church  when he sought to marry this kind woman.

He molested me as a child, but I  forgave him when I found a true love, and found my way back to Jesus.

He was given absolution before he died, which I am  told seemed to make him happy.

*sighs*     I found out after the fact as I did when my mom died.

Whats most important to me is that  he was my dad, regardless and I loved him.     I am sad that I didn't keep in contact more, but that's just the way it was.   I am rejoicing that he is now with my mom  and at peace.   I believe this in my heart that he was forgiven his sin against me.   Not only by me, but by God.

Rest daddy,  I am thinking of you with love and happiness.

I am adding his obit I just found on google.     I am trying to NOT be angry that I did not get a mention at all.

Even though his wife and I have spoken many times.    The mention of his years in the beer distributorship, my mom was  there.   I was there.   He was my dad, and how could they act like I do not, exist !       Like I don't matter !

I asked her for recent pictures of him and she warned me that she didn't know  who to mention and such. But I thought she was talking about my other half brothers and sisters that weren't his !     Jesus give me strength to look past all that and continue  to just be glad that he is resting. And with my mom,  whom he loved to the end. His wife told me he had a big picture of my mom that hung in the room he used for computer.

I have deleted the names of his family, I know some here would cause pain, it was a mistake to add that part of his obit.
