Magicjack Customer Service Sucks!!

Well, just ordered it and I can see I am going to have an issue with the only way to talk to these people being online chat only.

Here is my conversation, which I* just finished having with one of their "Customer Care" online chatters. (what a joke)

Paris: As I checked here your order has not yet been shipped since we are still verifying your account here before we shipped to avoid some Future Error on this as soon as we are done with it we we will be notifying you thru email with the tracking number for you to be able to track it USPS

Chris: OK. How much of my free 30 day trial is going to get eaten up by this process? (What good is rush shipping?)

Paris: I Understand Chris but we are just making sure that your order will be shipped properly and that you will be able to Receive it not worry I will inform  our shipping Department about this for them to aware and this will be in High Priority

Chris: a 30 day trial period is only good if you actually have the product in hand for the entire "30" days. I don't think that is going tohappen. I thought I was going to get 30 days once I had the product in hand and set up account with phone number. The email confirming my order told me that December 30th was the end of the 30 days, when I would get billed.

Chris: So again, OK. How much of my free 30 day trial is going to get eaten up by this process? (What good is rush shipping?)

Chris: Shipping informationon the website claim that rush shipping will take 3 to 5 working days and normal would take up to 10 days. Why do you start the trial time at the time the order is placed rather then when the customer gets the product and starts his or her account?

Paris: since you purchase the Device last Nov.29 it will end on December 30...since you purchase Rush Shipping it would take 2-4 days for you to receive the order

Chris: And my point is.....the 30 days started before I even recieve the unit!!! Are you not5 understanding what I am saying?

Paris: the trial period starts on the day you purchase your order ,,,and the Service will start on the day you Register the MJ


Paris: I believe you can Decide whether you keep the Device or not in just 2 to 3 weeks Chris

Chris: That isn't the point. 30 days is given and at the rate is is taking this item to ship to me I won't get it until next monday or tuesday.

Chris: Why even offer 30 days if that isn't EXACTLY what you are giving the customer?

Paris: the trial period will start on the day you place on your order but your first year of using it will start on the day you Register it

Chris: Is there a phone number I can call to talk to someone in person? You are not hearing or understanding my problem with this.....

Chris: I am getting the feeling you are giving me a pre-determined response. Is this what I can expect from this company?

Paris: Chris please Understand that this is how the trial works and I believe that you can test the MJ no longer than the 30 days

Chris: So no then? There isn't a number I can call?

Chris: You have a good habit of not answering my questions

well, they mailed it out almost a day later. Should recieve the unit by monday probably. I will be suprised if it gets her by friday so it will be about 3 weeks free trial of the promised month.<br />

Not a big concern though. cheap product, even cheaper rates for use so I should come out ahead if this item works as is stated....
