My Story....

Hiya
I was diagnosed with Kienbocks just over 1 month ago having had some issues with my right wrist. This also being my dominant hand I was concerned with the pain and a lump on the upper side near to my wrist bone. Initial thoughts were that the lump was just a gangelion which needed to be asperated. This was carried out to find out the lump was bone...Off to xray i go to be told I Have Kienbocks. Next consultation I was told I would need radial shortening, had this op a week later... Now 3wks post op I am in more pain than I started with :-(
I have been told its due to nerve damage....
Has any one experienced this and how long was recovery?
Although I'm not due to go back to work for another 8wk I am concerned that it could be longer....
