Mimi Kitty

We found out this morning that our Mimi Kitty will have to be put down.  She is a 15-year old tuxedo cat and my husband is devastated.  She's been showing signs of kidney failure and hasn't eaten or used the litter box in several days.  My husband got her a week or so after we started dating, and although I have never been that close to her, she and I have been roommates for the last several weeks.

She's always been very affectionate and very, very sweet.  Never having been outside, she's never even been interested in going outside or birds or squirrels for that matter.  Mostly she just likes to snuggle with you or she wanders the house singing.  She makes these high pitched trills all day and sometimes all night.  My son has even gotten up from his bed at night, opened his door, and told her to "Be quiet!"

She will be missed.  Our other cat died of kidney failure this summer.  I'll try to post some pictures of them both this weekend.
