Picked Up His Ashes....

Today I went to pick up the ashes of my beloved Elkhound doggie.  It was three weeks ago that I had to put him to sleep, after he ruptured a disc in his back.  he lived to 17 years.  I was there when he was born...and knew I had to be there when he left. It was one of the hardest thing I have ever had to do.  Miss him terribly!

Oh my. ...I'm so sorry. My heart goes out to you. May God hold your hand through this awful loss. I have a 18 year old Siamese cat he is my heart & my soul I dread the day. Take care.

It's very difficult to lose a family member. People have told me that pets are like family. WRONG!They ARE family. I offer my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to you for your painful loss.Try to remember the all of the good memories that you had with your baby. It really helps.Hugs to you.
