I Have Lost a Parent

I lost my mum 19 weeks ago from a blood clot at home, it was really unexpected but i got to tell her i love her that day which is a comfort, she was gone really fast and she was with my dad at the time. Im finding it hard to cope at the min, my moods are out of control i fly of the handle at the smallest of things, my dad has also ALREADY got a new girlfriend that just about lives in his house, I'm not allowed to tell my Nanna about this but my mums sister does know, TBH I'm struggling with the whole thing and don't no what to do.

    honey: Its very hard. I lost my mom 6 weeks ago and i can't believe it. I did not have contact with my dad.



    I miss my mom so much and cry alot. I hope you can cope and find peace.

    I kind of have a similar story. I lost my mom back in October from a blood clot. It was so sudden and i didnt get to say goodbye because I am in college. It really hurts so bad. I feel so alone, numb, and disconnected from the world. I miss her soooooo much. Sometimes I find myself waking up at random times in the middle of the night and suffering from anxiety. It hurts me knowing that I will be graduatiing from college in a couple of months and my mom won't be there. But Its important for you to know that the pain you are feeling will not last forever. I have to keep reminding myself that everyday. It will get better over time. Hang in there!
