What Could Have Been...

I lost two sisters, both of them older than me. The second eldest died three weeks after birth, before I was even born. A year later, after I was born and when they accused my mom of murdering the 2nd child, they took my eldest sister. I haven't seen the eldest in years and I never met my second oldest. It's strange to wonder how my life would have turned out  if I hadn't been left with the job of oldest to the seven other siblings I was given later.
