Come Back

i miss the old me. i miss the old "app". things got worse a few months ago. i've made a lot of wrong decisions. these made me feel so down and empty.

i ache with regrets.

app, where are you now?

I know. I'm, like . . . okay . . . I can accept change is inevitable, but I wish it didn't have to happen. There's no point trying to hold back change, 'cause it just rolls over me anyway. But, I mean, sheesh! I just get tired of it sometimes.

Taurus is my zodiac sign too. so i know exactly where you're coming from. well, but i'm trying so hard to embrace change. believe me, i'm trying. because there's nothing really i can do about it.

Well, I accept that change is inevitable, but I usually resist it at first. Not sure if I'll ever reach the point where I can accept it unconditionally. Probably has to do with my being a Taurus. I'm too bullish. Good luck on this.

i guess so. haha.
you can run, but you can't hide. :D

you mean i had a loving granny who changed into this cold hearted one who wants to kill me? :|

thanks for the honest advice, UnderEli. i really appreciate it.
i'm now trying to embrace change! ^_^

The only comment I'd like to add to what's already been said -- and I do say it a bit tongue-in-cheek, though honestly as well -- is that one of the good things about losing who you are or used to be is that you get to find yourself again. While it's painful going through this kind of "growth," you do come though in the end, and sometimes you find some pretty interesting stuff about yourself along the way. Best of luck on your journey.

soonerorlater, i'm trying to look on the brighter side of life. it hasn't been easy for me. i just hope that i'll bounce back "sooner or later". :)
thank you everyone!

i'll keep that in mind. thank you so much. :)

i hope so mizzblue! thanks a lot :)

I agree - it is SO hard at first. But - we do learn from our mistakes. You will be so much stronger next time ...

thanks for the kind words tylorian. :)

From your mistakes you learn and grow. We all make mistakes. We're only human. Instead of regrets, focus on nurturing yourself. In time you'll either find your old self or you will you create a new and better one.
