Hi my name is karlene and I am 21 years old. I was diagnosed 4 years ago with mctd. I am bless because through god I just recently went into remission I just wanted to let you know that no matter how hard it gets just know that God does have a plan for you (jeremiah 29:11) and at times it may be hard to feel like GOD is their but just remember that he is and loves you very much. I will be praying for you and your family.

I am 70 yrs old and living (just barely) with MCTD. Sadly, it only gets worse for me because my body will not tolerate the new drugs out there. I have a wonderful rheumatologist and he tries everything to help me but my body won't cooperate. Hopefully you will have better luck. I am 70yrs old in a 90yr old body. I hate it, I really believe my two beautiful Golden Retrievers and 3 rescue cats are my reason for living. I take a shoebox full of drugs everyday (these are the ones I can tolerate). I find I can do less and less each day and hope for the best. I really hope these new drugs will work for you, they really have promise.

Where do you live? I am 48 and live in west Texas. I was just diagnosed last July.

I live in California.
