I Have Never Been On A Date
Have you ever noticed....that people seem to have this strange obsession with being in a relationship? At school, I watch as, over and over, they go through the same process of a rocky relationship, break up, depression/angry phase, new bf/gf. Its pretty pathetic. I understand being lonely, but I am not going to go out of my way to have a relationship just because I am lonely. I will wait for someone I actually like. If that person is hard to find, well I suppose I will just wait longer.
I overheard a girl talking the other day... "I just broke up with my boyfriend, so do you think I should go for (insert name) now? I think he said he was interested..I don't know if I like him though. Maybe I should ask him out.."
Etc.
Really? I am not trying to criticize anyone for their choices, but why do you need to have that constant relationship and make it hard on yourself?
