It Is No Secret

Having never been the recipient of a surprise event of any kind, I am pre-empting the onset of an imminent milestone and throwing myself a surprise party.

I had the temerity to post an open invitation on my Facebook and have been shocked and amazed but also touched by the rapid and widespread acceptances notified by family, friends and acquaintances from around the world. Especially given the distances to our new and admittedly remote home.

I know that Perth has hosted CHOGM and Minerals and Minings Conferences recently, I just hope it is big enough for this event.

We move there tomorrow and addition to settling into a new abode at the end of the month, we will be blocking hotels and booking major venues in preparation for the arrival of friends from around the globe.

Perhaps I really have touched the lives of many.

Some say size is important, but it seems this is now too big to remain a surprise.

Any contacts at Perth convention centre or the stadium?

Everyone laughed when I said I was throwing myself a surprise party. Any ideas on how to make it eventful and worthwhile? I think they are looking forward to raiding our cellar haha. I'm excited;)
