I Have Never Had a One Night Stand

I have nothing against one night stands on a moral/ethical level. If people find pleasure in sexual release without any binding agreements, who am I to condemn them?
The main reason I'm abstaining from sexual intercourse until I'm married is sexual diseases. You might think you're with a guy forever, but then he leaves you a month later. From there, the cycle continues and you run an increased risk of acquiring STD's and STI's. One night stands are an even greater risk and condoms don't protect against every disease or infection.
I like playing on the safe side when it comes to sexual well being.

    You have made a good decision. I wish you strength and success to carry through with that decision, even after you have married. At the same time, I like to point out that fear of something is not the best advisor when it comes to sex. Maybe you think about some other strong motives to abstain from ons.



    I believe that your No in every situation that comes your way to have a ons makes you also stronger to say No when you are married and feel tempted. People who are able to say No to sex before marriage are more likely to say No to sex outside of marriage within.



    I wish you enjoy the fulness of intimacy with your future husband and dont ever regret your conviction.
