I Have Nightmares, Often.

I dream often, almost every night. And some of these Dreams and Pleasant, other's funny, and other's down right strange. But because I dream very often, I also get nightmares.

My most Recent nightmare involved me in a backwater town, as if some sort of world Apocalypse happened and technology wasn't around anymore. I was carrying a baby who's legs were burned extremely bad. He was hungry and sick, and there wasn't anyone who would help me. They told me it was my responsibility to kill the baby off. I refused and decided to leave the baby at a Church, hoping the nuns would take it in. The poor thing cried and cried and cried, and all the nuns did was take a broom to it, attempting to smother it, and then pushed it off the steps into the streets. I woke up after that.

I often have nightmares of crashing my car. I always end up fine after the crash, but the car is always totaled.

One time I dream I was hit in the head with an axe. I fell over bleeding to death. My told my boyfriend that I loved him very much, and as he removed the axe from my head, I left my body and went into the light, telling my boyfriend how much I loved him, but knowing that as I was leaving my body, he could not hear me. The dying part felt extremely real to me. I could feel myself leave my body, as if I was no longer in control of anything, I felt eased as I just began to float away, into the brightness. I knew that I was sad, but I didn't feel sad. A very indescribable feeling. I wouldn't call it in emptiness, but it was a stagnant content feeling. When I awoke from that dream, I cried. I cried very hard. My boyfriend at the time woke up as well and just held me in his arms. I had a hard time explaining to him my dream. It felt so real, maybe I was actually dying, and I woke up before I was smothered to death.

I've had dreams where people die in very strange ways. Rain coming down like razors and cutting people to shreds. People exploding before my very eyes. Usually when someone dies, I see their eyes roll back into their head and they collapse.

One thing I never see in my dreams are Clouds. I do not know why, by the sky in my dream is always like a gradient fill. It's usually one color and usually a shade of gray. Clouds do not exists in my dream world and I have never been able to figure out why.
