I have been in an exclusive relationship with my SO for almost 2 years. He is a good man, but is not a cuddler or hugger and I am needing the contact from him so much at this point of my life. He frequently tells me he loves me and needs me, but having been single without any relationships for nearly 10 years, he is set in his ways. I wish that I could get through to him that I need the connection at times other than when we are making love, but I am not having any luck.

    Check his testerone, low T leads to depression.. go to a specialist that deals with sexual functions..not a urologist, if they deem he needs to T treatment..intramuscular injects forget that gel..

    I am VERY HAPPY to report that we have had several lengthy discussions regarding my perceptions, and I was wrong :). He is just dealing with some things and had no idea I felt the way I did AND he has been cuddling nightly~!~!~ Thanks everybody for your input and support.
