Where I live, interacial marriage and dating is very common. I was married to a Black man and we are still very good friends, even though we are divorced. When we were dating I was often amused by the looks we would get. Prejudice is one of those emotions that is hard to hide, especially in a person's eyes. My mother raised me to value people for the content of their character (as MLK often said) and not for the color of their skin.
