If a good and bad thing happen in a day, the order makes a big difference. Eg If the show you were going to see is canceled (bad), but you go on a fun picnic instead (good) the day is "saved". But if you go on the picnic first (good), THEN have your show canceled (bad) the day is "ruined". Same events, but the order affects how you perceive everything.
