How Did I Get Ocp ?

I poked myself in the eye (by accident) on Brownie Camping Holiday (so mucky fingers) whilst suffering with a mild dose of glandular fever! Suffered with conjunctivitis plus allergy to preservatives in eye drops - that is how my problems started - although according to the doctors there is no known cause as yet.

im fifty have been diagnosed with ocp since may of 2009... am already at quite a degree of opacity in my left eye alone, and have already since Aug 2009 a TRACHEOTMY for my breathing needs...

about four or five years ago, i got some BLEACH in my left eye whilst washing...the next day or two later i noticed that this eyes SCLERA portion seemed to actually sag a bit in the area that had been touched with the bleach. didnt think anything of it till a few years later i developed whats called a SYMBLEPHERON in that very same spot on the sclera of that left eye......lower inside eyelid was beginning to droop and within two weaks to a month , this pink tissue(evidently, it's part of the MUCOUS MEMBRANE SYSTEM) was actually attaching itself to the white part(SCLERA) just under my left iris.....BUT i must mention that i had other symptoms earlier(blisters on skin around my fingers, toes, under my tounge, and NASAL ENCRUSTATIONS, all in spring 2006) that are part of the path leading to the full blown eye conditions...the tracheotmy had to happen in order to breath , within just 3 months of a diagnoses of Cicatricial pemphigoid from a biopsy of a blister taken from my thigh during an incredible outbreak of blisters to my legs and face during early April/May 2009...so yes , there may be some component of ENVIROMENTAL /chemical reason for the immune system to go haywire, later on......................................................................................................................................truly, V'ketah
