It Hurts!!!!!

Ugh, every month it's the same - painful cramps that can sometimes have me whimpering in bed unable to move, they keep me up at night, they give me diarrhoea and the pain moves all round my lower abdomen!

Bloody wonderful.

I'm so glad I've found you guys! I've been in hell for the past 8 years!! My periods are so painful that I very offten have to be reffered to the hospital so they can give me morphene to control the pain. It's so helpful to know that there are others in exactly the same situation, not that I would ever wish this on anybody! It's just so upsetting when I have to be sent home from work or uni and other women give u disbelieving looks as if to say "she must be putting it on, my period pains arent that bad, whimp". I'm already in enough agony without having to feel as though i need to deffend myself! Your symptoms sound exactly the same as mine and I have so much sympathy for you because i know how bloody awful it is. I dread that awful week of every month, it stops me planning things with my friends and family, and I just feel utterly miserable! I do have an aunt and a cousin who have both been through the same thing and that really helps having then there for me. They have both said that for them the pain stopped after they had children. So I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. My best wishes to all of you who have to go through this I have so much respect for anyone who can handle this kind of pain on a monthly basis.

i know it doesn't help completely but Pepto-Bismol really does help sometimes im like you my mom got

I have the same problem. I am 24 and my doctor wanted me to have a hystorectimy I considered this for a nano second and thought that I am wayyyyyy to young for this. My doctor is saying that this is the only thing that will make me be okay. My pain is so bad I am on morphine. i was wondering if any of you had some ideas that would help me. <br />

yup, i'm past that now lol. in high school i used to have to come home every month, couldn't handle the pain. i'd even get dizzy!! i've heard excercise, just moving around help... hard to do when all you want to do is curl up in a ball.. tried advil?? it gets better with age thats all i can say. i've had 2 kids, a hysterectomy... lets see i'll have the 2 kids over again rather than the hysterectomy...
