My Last House...

I have lived with many spirits in numerous houses.  In the last house we lived in, my 7 year old son had a little girl walk up to his bed and tell him, "don't look behind you because there's a monster there".  I woke up to him in the morning lying in our bed completely white like he was severely ill.  I asked him if he was sick and he proceeded to tell me the story.  I had many experiences at that house and we only lived there for a short period of time.

Couple other quick stories from that house:

The bedroom door would always shut by itself.

The toilet seat would always be put down.  I could hear it "clank", but it wouldn't slam.

I heard a little girl laugh on numerous occasions.

I woke up in the middle of the night to my 3 year old son playing with "nobody".  He has never done anything like this in his life.

Little tricks would always be played on me.  For example, my pen literally disappeared after setting it on a note pad on the floor.  I went to the kitchen to get a drink and came back and it was gone.  I found it the next morning sitting on the middle of the couch (no way!).

My 7 year old son was playing "ghost" one night with a sheet over his head.  For the record, he had never done that before.  He walked up to my wife and I and said "there's a ghost in the house".  In the middle of that sentence, all the overhead lights turned off for about 2 seconds and turned back on.  No other electrical issues ever happened in the house.  Coincidence?

That was just the beginning...

The hair on my body is standing up while writing this.  :-)

Tell me about it. There were some things which were very alarming and showed signs of danger which ultimately prompted me to move out. When I saw my youngest boy (3 yrs old) walking around the room playing with a ghost in the middle of the night, it makes you think really hard about the potential things that could happen. The spirit obviously had some "power" or control over him, at least had the ability to persuade him to play.

sounds creepy, but the spirits don't really sound dangerous so thats good.
