I Don't Like The Attitude "i Want To Hurt Someone.!"

Some people think because they have been hurt; that gives them the right to hurt others. We have seen this throughout the years. Sometimes revenge is taken out on the person that has done the hurting but other times it is not. The Columbine School shooting was the fourth deadliest school shooting in the history of the USA. Two students would kill thirteen students and wound 22 others. It was true that they may have been bullied; but not by the people that they hurt.
I was attending a church where the pastor was the grandfather of the first person shot; Rachel Scott was the first person that was shot and killed by Eric Harris, and Dylan Klebold. She was a Christian and was in a group praying. I got to meet the aunt and mother a few years after this event.
I also have talked with parents and family members who lost their children to violent crimes and even ministered to some of these people in prison. I just don't understand why people would want to hurt others. I have been hurt so much through the years but I do not want to hurt others because I was hurt.
I have been punished for things I did not do. I once was punished for giving a colored boy a drink of water. I have been beaten for not liking certain foods. Thankfully I have found a better way to raise my children.
Women do not deserve to be raped, they deserve to be loved and respected. We should treat others the way we would want to be treated if we were in someone else's shoes. We should not judge another person until we have gone a thousand miles in his or her shoes.
