I just started not to long ago by I would for go meals to eat alka seltzer and lost some weight. I got to a point where I would eat like 4 packs a day, so that's 8 tablets if I'm not mistaken. I tried to stop but it would cause me extreme pain in my stomach until I started eating them again. I want to stop but it really hurts when I try and I doubt there are treatment for this so I don't know what to do.

Ive been eating regular alka seltzer for 8 years. Its not good for you. Try to stop i am. Its a addiction now, I am anemic and I have a ulcer. So stop if you can

I'm actually eating the citrus kind as I'm typing haha I don't really know when it started, but I remember when I had to take it I would always eat a little piece before dropping in the glass. Now I just eat little bites of it until it's gone. I just love it~

your not the only one. I also eat alkal seltzer. since last year. I don't believe it's to harmful. there is a lot of salt in it though. we are lacking some kind of iron in our bodies. I eat them like mints. hey, it could be worse, like eating or sniffing something toxic. xoxox
