At My Wits End

I am lying in bed with ice packs on both of my heels as I type this. I have had PF for 9 months. I have tried the night splints, but after a few hous my feet begin to ache and swell. I stretch daily. I have orthotics which I combine with air splints. I am in so much pain I have decided not to get out of bed today. My quality of life is horrible. It is affecting everything to include my marriage. I am depressed and really don't know where else to turn. I have a doctors appt I the morning and I will ask for pain killer and an antidepressant.

I am same as you too...but don't put ice packs on your feet...freeze the water in one and roll your heel over it till u can't take it anymore. The reason I say this is bc I started out with PF on both feet...but I did the ice thing maybe twice and when I was done the PF was gone in the right foot! Just like magic! But it never left my left foot for 10 months now. That is my leg that has poor circulation and stays swollen alot so I'm sure my PF is very aggravated in that heel. But it is much til I can't walk and am nearly bedridden. I have had to purchase a mobile scooter to get around in public. And depression sets in so now they prescribe antidepressants bc my quality of life is maybe a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. God will heal me...I don't know when. I'm so sorry for us all as this is a terrible thing to have.

Gosh we have the same story.

I feel your pain. I feel everything your going through. It's so hard to always be positive when your in so much pain. I have always been such an active person but this has taken a toll on my life and my Podiatrist finally took me off work for a couple of months for me to heal. Wish me luck!
