What I Hate About Pmdd

It isn't my fault that I have to deal with this disorder, but it is something I have to learn to live with.  It sucks when people around you don't exactly understand what you are going through because they don't! It's even hard to explain to others.  How can someone understand how you feel when you feel fine and dandy for two weeks, then a week before your period (well at least for me), I feel like dying and that everything is going wrong in my life.

No one wants to be on meds, but I don't know where I would be if I didn't take Zoloft during those two weeks.  I've gone as far as attempting suicide, never knowing that I had this disorder.  But I started seeing a psychiatrist after my boyfriend found me and told my parents.  I will forever be grateful for them because now I know that I'm not just a freak, I have a problem that I am learning to deal with.
