Holy Hormones, Batman.

I've never really had a problem with the physical pain of PMS - no bloating, no cramps or anything of the like, save for maybe once or twice and usually following the end of birth control or after I stopped nursing. But holy hell do my emotions get totally out of whack. My bff gets really bad cramps, like call-in-sick-to-work-hit-the-vicodin-stash cramps and I would gladly trade her so I wouldn't be crazy two weeks out of every month. I'm actually pretty sure I have PMDD but have yet to get it checked out by a doctor. And the thing that sucks the most is it's the people I'm closest to that get the short end of the stick - I'm more comfortable biting their heads off or screaming at them than some poor stranger. I'm actually a pretty mellow chick for the most part except for before and during my period. then I am all sorts of crazy and I hate it. What's worse is that I *know* when it's PMS but that doesn't keep me from feeling the way I feel.
