Keep Moving

I had a stroke on January 12 2011 and after three days in the hospital I was visited by a hemotoligist oncologist who told me my platlets were over 1.5 million and test have to be performed to ascertain cause test included bone marrow biopsey - blood and tissue test - they found I have polycythemia Vera - about a month before my stroke I received a letter from the Marines informing me that they are researching disease clusters in those stationed at Camp Lejeune between 1957 and 1982 for 30 days or more I will be getting VA disabilty - I've been on pegulated interferon for the past six months - you have to keep moving I get horrible fatigue but I find that hiking at least one day a week and lifting weights every other day and eating healthy foods are so important - the most important is to keep moving and keep smiling . We may be not be curable but we are unbeatable
