My Logical Self and My Spiritual Self

I've always been a bit of a combination - logical and spiritual. But as I've gotten older, I've tended to stick much more with my logical side. But, as I've learned, trying to ignore your spiritual side doesn't make it go away. Which brings me to premonitions.

When I was a kid, I would have premonitions. I thought that it was cool, but I learned that most of the world looks down on things that fall under the paranormal, so I slowly began to ignore them. Lo and behold, a few years ago, I began to have them again. First, I just had a bad feeling come over me like a thick, dark cloud. I even told my woman that "something bad is happening," but I didn't know what it was. I just had a bad feeling. A few days later, I was told my mom had a heart attack, which she recovered from.

A few months later, I began to feel depressed and slightly ill and I "knew" that someone I love was in great pain. Less than 24 hours later, it turned out that my brother was in jail after a terrible incident where he was the victim.

I'm starting to be more aware of these feelings, and I've decided to be more open to them.

I think its amazing to know these things go on, but it must be awful sometimes to know when to ignore it, when to act on it and when people will believe it. I have deep feelings like im always affected by other peoples emotions no matter what and they do affect me.

Life is difficult and any tool or gift that we have should be used as much as possible ! Be happy that you are lucky and turn it into your advantage :)
