I'm new to this! But I was diagnosed with PtC 3 years ago. I'm 23 now. I've had headaches that have always been unbearable since I can remember. I went from doctor to doctor trying to get an answer as to why I was having so many headaches and no one could tell me why. Finally I found a doctor who cared about what was going on and the pain I was in and did multiple tests and diagnosed me. At first I was very scared. And had a million questions. She immediately prescribed me on diamox and as most of you know the side effects are terrible. But I kept taking it. 6 months later at my check up she scheduled my first lumbar puncture. After that it was so much relief I couldn't believe it! I was doing really good for about a year and a couple months ago I started having those terrible headaches everyday, whooshing sounds, and some blurry vision so I decided to go to the er bc I knew something wasn't right. I ended up having to get another LP bc my pressure was so elevated. I felt pretty good afterwards so they sent me home. The next day I woke up and couldn't even hold my head up so back to the er I went. They had to do another LP and get more fluid and also did a CT scan and said I needed to see a neuro-ophthalmologist ASAP. So in the morning I have an appointment with a new doctor. I'm nervous, anxious and excited. Thanks for listening! I've loved reading others stories and so glad I found this! I would love to talk with anyone!!

So how's everything going with you? I have just been recently diagnosed with PTC. I went through the same situation as you.
