Finally Relief

I wanted to share my story, because I have finally found something that is working for me and I thought it might help others.  I have had psoriasis for about 5 years now.  It started at the scalp, elbows and knees and was more annoying than bad. In the last 3 years, I have had two very large patches, one on the right upper thigh and one in between my shoulder blades. I tried dealing with it with coal tar shampoos, cortisone creams, different soaps, oils, psoriasin ointment and liquids, changing diets and even juicing.  Some things worked temporarily, but the spots never went away.  This year, the spots were more inflamed and scaly.  I hated all of the flaking, itching, pain and embarrassment.  Recently, the spots spread all over my body.  I finally said to myself that I will do whatever it takes to get rid of this stuff.  I went to a dermatologist, thinking I would be going on Stelera or something like it.  He prescribed some topical medicines: Fluocinonide Topical solution USP0.05% by Taro Pharmaceuticals (for my scalp), Fluticasone prop0.05% by Perrigo (for forehead, ears, neck, etc), and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream, 0.05% byGlenmark Generics (for the big tough really scaly patches).  He also suggested TGel shampoo and taking a claritin once per day.

Within one week, my scalp cleared scaling.  My forehead, neck and ears cleared up.  Within 2 weeks, the scaling was gone and the itching stopped.  Within 3 week, the large spot on my back had all but faded away.  The spot on my leg is healed, but still discolored.  I went back to the doctor and he was surprised how fast it was going away.

I am on my 4th week now and I am working on getting rid of all spots on my body.  The greatest thing is that I am not itchy.  It is relief like I haven't felt in a long time.

I don't know if this will help any one else...and please don't try it on my word alone...but I wanted people to know what has helped me.

What kind of clariton are you taking? There are several types. Your "derm" has me on the same regiment as you with the exception of the clariton so I am very curios. One item that my doctor has me use rather than the T-Gel is called Bakers P and S Shampoo. You can get it online at My drugstore indicated that it was no longer available but obviously they were incorrect as I searched the web and found it there. It has minimized the scaling but I still get the bumps. Call me vain, my fear is that I will be bald within the year! we send free samples please email me at
