Scalp Is the Worst

I do have small patches that I can keep under control, mainly my elbows, inside ears, a little on my hands (mainly knuckles, my cuticles and on the skin between index and middle finger), occasionally get it on my upper eyelids.

But by far the worst and out of control is my scalp. It can drive me insane at times, I can't get it under control or when I do it soon comes back. I need to wash my hair every day due to oiliness which probably doesn't help. I can't help picking at it, scratching it, and I'm always having to check my shoulders and back of my clothing to brush it off before I go out in public. I HATE going to the hairdressers as I cringe knowing they can see it. I get foils put in but I get them to avoid the back of my head. I sometimes use tweezers or sharp objects to "pick", I don't know why I do that as it makes it worse, kind of obsessive compulsive about it. It started off as a small area but over the years, the picking and scratching has made it cover the whole back of my head and some of one side. I'm embarrased about it but hopefully my long hair covers it. I'd do anything for a permanent cure.

I'm in exact same situation.
I have tried everything tho...from cream, steroids lotion, shampoo ....actually TONS ANDTONS of different shampoos and none of them worked
I hate my scalp. It's always itchy and I always pick it too
In fact its itchy right now..

Donikian, I tried it once, found it quite expensive, but guess I can try it again, if it worked for you!
I just spent the whole day picking till I could pick no more. I did the same yesterday. It is awfully sore now, but still I pick. I do it when I am stressed or bored or lonely. I live alone which doesn't help my bad habit. If only it could magically disappear I could stop picking. I hate it.
I will try the T gel shampoo and keep using it till I reach the end of the bottle, or a few bottles, and see how I go. Will keep you informed!

Jasmine, your not alone. I control most of the parts you already mentioned. But my scalp drive me crazy as well. I wish there was a permanant cure to. Ever need to talk im here.
